DATU EFREN HOSPITAL MANDIPENSA

Datu Efren Hospital Mandipensa is a visionary leader, scholar, and tribal chief whose work bridges ancient wisdom and modern inquiry. Born and raised among the Higaonon people in Daanlungsod, Gingoog City, Mindanao, he developed an intimate bond with the sacred Kabagtokan rainforest—his first teacher in environmental stewardship and cultural preservation. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Cagayan Capitol University, he returned home to protect ancestral lands with both traditional knowledge and scientific rigor.

In 1995, he was formally installed as a Datu, a role that expanded his influence from local guardianship to international advocacy. He has represented Southeast Asian indigenous rights at the United Nations and lectured at institutions such as MIT and UCLA, championing environmental justice, cultural sovereignty, and social equity.

Over decades of research, oral‑tradition gathering, and spiritual exploration, Datu Efren uncovered hidden histories that became the foundation of his groundbreaking book, Timelines of Truth: Finding the Omniverse. This three-segment work weaves Indigenous dasang, archaeological revelations, and the machinations of secret societies into a compelling vision of humanity’s origins and destiny.

Beyond scholarship, he channels his artistry into music—his albums Magbabaya and Once in a Million Years fuse storytelling with song to carry ancestral wisdom into new realms. Datu Efren’s life and work invite readers to question reality, reclaim buried truths, and embark on a journey toward awakening.
